Minni is a strong-willed 10-year-old girl who has already faced more than most children her age. For the past two years, she cared for her father after he suffered a stroke, standing by his side in Barstow, California, even as he struggled with addiction. Despite her love and care, her father was unable to overcome his challenges, and Minni was the one who found him after he passed away. Her mother is court-restrained from seeing her due to criminal convictions, leaving Minni without her parents and in need of a safe, loving home.
My wife and I are all Minni has now. We went to bring her home to Fairview, Oregon, where she has joined our family and become one of our four children. We are committed to giving her everything she needs—love, stability, and the support to heal and grow. The funds raised will help us provide for Minni’s living expenses, clothes, food, school supplies, counseling and grief support, and opportunities like sports programs to help her find joy and keep her mind busy during this difficult transition.
We are two years clean and sober, and our faith in Jesus Christ gives us strength every day. Our greatest hope is to give Minni a bright future and a loving home. We are deeply grateful for any support, prayers, or encouragement you can offer. Thank you for hearing our cry for help and supporting our family as we trust God to provide for all our needs.
