Supporting Immigrant Families in Crisis – Ministerio La Gran Comisión

Dear friends, family, and community,

We are Ministerio La Gran Comisión, a Hispanic Pentecostal church located in Harvey (Westbank). Today, we are reaching out with a heavy heart and a sincere plea for support on behalf of the immigrant families in our community who are facing an urgent and difficult crisis.

Many of these families are now confined to their homes, unable to leave to obtain food, essential supplies, or the income they need to support their children and loved ones. Without the ability to work or access basic provisions, parents are struggling to keep meals on the table and maintain stability in their households. These are hardworking families who contribute so much to our community, yet right now they find themselves vulnerable, isolated, and in need of compassionate assistance.

As a church, we have been doing all we can—delivering meals, checking in on families, and offering prayer and support. But the needs have grown beyond what we can provide on our own. That is why we are humbly asking for your help.

All funds raised will go directly toward:

Apoyando a las Familias Inmigrantes en Crisis – Ministerio La Gran Comisión

Queridos amigos, familiares y comunidad:

Somos Ministerio La Gran Comisión, una iglesia pentecostal hispana ubicada en Harvey (Westbank). Hoy nos acercamos a ustedes con un corazón cargado y una petición sincera de apoyo para las familias inmigrantes de nuestra comunidad que están enfrentando una crisis urgente y difícil.

Muchas de estas familias se encuentran ahora confinadas en sus hogares, sin poder salir a obtener alimentos, suministros esenciales o el ingreso necesario para sostener a sus hijos y seres queridos. Al no poder trabajar ni acceder a lo más básico, muchos padres están luchando por mantener comida en la mesa y estabilidad en sus hogares. Son familias trabajadoras que aportan tanto a nuestra comunidad, pero que en este momento se encuentran vulnerables, aisladas y necesitadas de asistencia compasiva.

Como iglesia, hemos estado haciendo todo lo posible: entregando comidas, visitando a las familias y ofreciendo oración y apoyo. Pero las necesidades han crecido más allá de lo que podemos suplir por nuestra cuenta. Por eso les pedimos humildemente su ayuda.
