Hello friends, family, and community,
As seen across the news, Jamaica has been decimated by Hurricane Melissa, leaving the country in a state of desperation, disarray, and crisis. Saint Elizabeth was severely impacted as the eye of the hurricane passed directly through. Many families are now without homes, power, food, clean water, medical supplies, and other basic necessities. We can only imagine the emotional and mental toll this disaster has taken. The Jamaican people are resilient, but right now, they need our help.
Minerva Mission, founded by Minerva Graham and operating as a non-profit under the Greater Pentecostal Temple of Christ, has been serving the Saint Elizabeth community for over 12 years by providing clothing, non-perishable food, and medical supplies. In response to this tragedy, the organization is stepping forward once again to support recovery efforts and help alleviate the immense strain of this post-disaster period. Now, we extend that call to you.
We need your support to raise funds that will go toward essential supplies and services to help restore the livelihood of the Jamaican people.
Minerva Mission will be working directly with local residents to assess needs and distribute resources. To ensure transparency and show the impact of your generosity, we will share updates, including photos and videos, as relief efforts progress.
Any amount makes a difference. Give as you feel led. We are deeply grateful to partner with you. Together, let’s help Jamaica get back on its feet.
