Support Her Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Mineyshalee. This past October 2024, I suffered a terrible accident which caused several fractures and my ability to move my upper body.Not being able to return to work. Taking physical therapy and trying to recover. Come January and my daughter Minaya 2 years old, began limping. I went to the hospital where they diagnose her with Transient Synovitis, in which we were sent home. Where four days later her condition worsened and stopped walking. I then decided to go to another hospital looking for a second opinion. It was there that her condition began to worsen not being able to sleep nor wanting to eat. Still there was no other diagnosis. We were there for a week where she didn’t improve. After leaving the hospital I made an appointment with her pediatrician. Where I was scared something really bad was happening. The pediatrician immediately sends me to Hershey Hospital, where in less than 24 hours and after several exams. I was told the terrible news that my daughter had a tumor in her spine that was obstructing her ability to move and affecting other organs. The next day she underwent surgery, after six hours in the operating room. The doctors managed to remove 90% of the tumor. I thought this was going to be the worst part. Until 3 weeks later I received the terrible news that my daughter’s tumor is cancer. A cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. It was hard for me to think about the terrifying pain my two-year-old girl was experiencing this whole time. In which she couldn't express herself and just yelled at me “mom my feet hurt” every time I touched her. I am still in the hospital been here for more than a month without knowing when I will return home with my princess. I keep postponing my spine surgery as Minaya will begin her chemotherapy and radiation treatment. As a single mother I don't have any support other than my parents and family. It is for this reason that I have opened this GofundMe. In order to cover Minaya's high medical expenses. Since I don't know when I will be able to return to work after this treatment and my back surgery. I want to thank you greatly for whatever help comes to your heart to give. Hola mi nombre es Mineyshalee. Este pasado Octubre de 2024 sufrir un terrible accidente el cual me ocasionó diversas fracturas que me impidieron regresar a mi trabajo. En medio de mis terapias físicas y a unas semanas de mi operación espinal. Mi hija Minaya de apenas de 2 años comenzó a cojear de inmediato me dirigí al hospital donde su primer diagnostic fue Transient Synovitis en cual nos envían a la casa donde cuatro días más tarde su condición empeoró. Regresando así a otro hospital buscando una segunda opinión. Fue allí donde su condición comenzó a empeorar pero aún así no había otro diagnóstico. Ahí estuvimos una semana donde ella no mejoraba. Luego de salir del hospital hice una cita con su pediatra y fue en esa cita donde mi instinto de mamá me decía que algo grave estaba pasando. De inmediato la pediatra me envía de emergencia al hospital Hershey donde en menos de 24 horas y luego de varios exámenes. Me dijeron la terrible noticia que mi hija tenía un tumor alojado en su espina dorsal que le estaba obstruyendo su capacidad de moverse y afectando otros órganos. Al día siguiente fue intervenida quirúrgicamente que luego de seis horas en sala de operación alcanzan remover un 90% del tumor. Pensando yo que esto iba ser lo peor hasta que 3 semanas después recibo la terrible noticia de que mi hija Minaya estaba atravesando un cancer llamado Ewing Sarcoma. Se me hace difícil pensar el terrible dolor que mi niña de dos años estaba experimentando todo este tiempo. En cuál ella misma no podía expresarse y solo me gritaba que le dolía los pies cada vez que la tocaba. Aun me encuentro en el hospital por más de un mes sin saber cuándo regresaré a mi hogar con mi pequeña niña. Sigo posponiendo mi cirugía ya que Minaya comienza su tratamiento de quimioterapia y radiación. Y como madre soltera no tengo ningún apoyo que no sea de mis padres y familiares. Es por esta razón que he abierto este fondo de ayuda. Para poder sufragar los altos gastos médicos de Minaya. Ya que no se cuando podré regresar a trabajar luego de este procedimiento y mi cirugía de espalda.
