Hello, I’m Fatumata, and I’m fundraising for my incredible mother, Mina—a strong, loving, and joyful woman who has always taken care of everyone around her. Now, she needs our help.

On the morning of July 2nd, I came downstairs and found my mom unresponsive—face down on the floor with foam and vomit coming from her mouth. It was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I called 911, and she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Doctors discovered she had suffered a brain aneurysm and needed immediate brain surgery. She was quickly transferred to another hospital, and we waited for hours as she fought for her life in the operating room.

By the grace of God, the surgery went as well as it could have. But her road to recovery is just beginning. Recovery could take anywhere from one to two years or more and she might never be her normal self again.

My mother is a devoted single mother of two daughters—one of whom is disabled—and she has always been the rock of our family. She's known for her big laugh, warm spirit, and unwavering strength. But now, she’s unable to work, and we’re facing overwhelming bills, cost of care, rehab, and basic living expenses.
