Hello everyone, my name is Charlotte, and I am the organizer of this fundraiser. “#PurpleHeartsProject” is an initiative created by ARMY to give back and honor the message of kindness, empathy, and compassion that BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단) have shared with the world.

The Cause

This fundraiser supports the Min Yoongi Treatment Center at Severance Hospital in South Korea, a center focused on providing mental health care and specialized treatment for adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The center was established to expand access to professional care and long-term support for young people and families navigating autism and other mental health challenges.

Every donation, no matter the size, represents the collective power of this global community. It is a reminder that fandom can be more than admiration. It can be compassion, solidarity, and massive impact.

Our Inspiration

For more than a decade, BTS have used their platform to encourage kindness, empathy, and meaningful action. Through their music, words, and initiatives, they reminded us that a community can become something powerful when people come together with genuine intention.

As we approach BTS’s long-awaited comeback and celebrate Min Yoongi’s birthday on March 9, we want to honor not only the artists, but also the values that BTS have shared with all of us.

ARMY has always been known as a community that shows up not only for the artists we love, but also for people in need.

Time and time again, fans across the world have turned admiration into action by supporting charities, hospitals, disaster relief efforts, and social causes. The Purple Hearts Project continues that tradition.

The Goal: 77,777

Our fundraising goal is €77,777, a number chosen to symbolize the connection between BTS’s seven members and ARMY around the world. It represents unity, gratitude, and the power of thousands of people coming together.

This project is about honoring BTS’s message and celebrating Yoongi’s birthday in the most meaningful way we can: by helping others.
