Min is a man living in Louisiana from the Muslim Rohingya and Kaman ethnic minorities of Myanmar/Burma. Min has been living in the US since 2019, and has been seeking asylum for the prosecution he will face if he were forced to return to Burma.

Min was detained by ICE on 7/21 at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans after returning from visiting his family in LA. He is currently detained in an ICE facility in Louisiana, and is currently being processed for removal.

Min is an active advocate for Rohingya refugees and has a strong online presence in Burma’s politics. Min is currently getting his Masters’ degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, specializing in Robotics and computational imaging. Min loves going to national parks and going on backpacking trips.
