Milwaukee Torrent's Flood Recovery

For almost a decade, Andreas Davi has been the heart and soul of the Milwaukee Torrent. He founded the club in 2015 with a clear vision: to make soccer accessible to everyone and to build a community that was about more than just the game. Under his leadership, the Torrent has grown from a single team into a community pillar, with a men's team, a women's team, and a thriving youth program that serves hundreds of kids. Andreas has poured his heart and soul into creating a space where players can thrive, on and off the field.

However, on August 9th, a devastating flood tore through the Milwaukee Torrent facility at Hart Park. The damage is extensive, and the community is heartbroken. The club lost vital equipment, supplies, and everything needed to run its programs. This GoFundMe is our chance to help Andreas and the Torrent community get back on their feet. All donations will go directly toward replacing what was lost so Andreas can continue his mission.

This GoFundMe page is operated by the Wales Youth Soccer board members in Wales Wisconsin, a collective of volunteer head coaches that have gotten to know Andreas very well since he took ownership of the youth soccer program from the Village of Wales in 2023. We know his drive and determination very well, but we also know that he sometimes doesn’t like asking for help when it’s needed. Recognizing this need we started the fundraiser to channel 100% of all the funds raised to go to rebuild the merchandise, training equipment, medical supplies, and other necessities to get the Milwaukee Torrent back on its feet.
