Our sweet kitten Milo recently went through a terrifying medical emergency. He accidentally ingested some fake moss from a plant, which caused him to start vomiting repeatedly. After throwing up several times, we rushed him to the emergency vet, where X-rays revealed a dangerous blockage in his stomach. Milo had to undergo an emergency exploratory laparotomy to remove the obstruction, and thankfully, the surgery was successful.

The total cost of his life-saving treatment came to about $11,000. Milo is now home from the hospital and we will be helping him recover for the next two weeks.
