My sweet Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Milo “Goob” was rushed to the Emergency vet on 10/25/24 early in the morning because of some digestive complications.
After a pricy Exam, X-Ray, and blood work, the doctors discovered a foreign object lodged in his small intestine and said that he would require immediate surgery as these kinds of “foreign object” complications without treatment are typically fatal.
As a college student with low funds but endless love for my boy I decided to spend all that I have left on him to get him home safe. The vet was kind enough to provide a discount with the knowledge that I was low on funds, but the aftermath of these expenses is quite hefty and I am left needing some financial support. I have yet to receive the final vet bills including the surgery and overnight stay he’ll need, as well as potential complications, but the quotes I have been given are far beyond what I can afford.
Any kind of help would be appreciated, no matter how small. He is such a special, silly cat, and I don’t know what I’d do without him.
Thank you to everyone who decides to help out. I am eternally grateful.
