Support Milo's Journey to a Happier Life

Donation protected

Shortly after Milo’s arrival at my house, it didn’t take long to realize that Milo needed intensive training as soon as possible.
Poor Milo has been suffering from separation anxiety and resource guarding. His confinement anxiety was so bad that he became physically sick after a night in a crate. Fortunately, I’ve had the entire week off for Thanksgiving, but I couldn’t leave the house because I was housebound with Milo.
Leaving him free and alone in the house wasn’t an option, and there wasn’t any way he was going back in a crate or a room with double-stacked baby gates or a closed door.
Knowing that my time off was soon coming to an end, I needed an immediate solution. I reached out to many people, feeling somewhat hopeless because it was technically a holiday weekend (thinking I wouldn’t hear anything until Monday), which was an excruciatingly long time to wait under dire circumstances.
My heart was in pain not knowing how to help Milo with such a limited time frame of me needing to soon go back to work without a solution for Milo.
Amazingly, Valor K9 Academy quickly responded to my email. After talking with Amy, I knew Milo would be in excellent care. He’s now living with Trainer Aaron for the next 4-6 weeks. I am so grateful that they were able to take Milo on such short notice.
We will share updates as we receive them! Meanwhile, we need your help to cover expenses for Milo. Stella's Shelter Fund has offered to donate $2000 once we raise $2000 on social media. Please help us meet this goal!
It is absolutely necessary that we reach our goal because the training costs can easily range between $6000-$9000. Milo’s life is worth it so we need your help!
Thank you so much to Amy and Aaron with Valor K9 Academy for being there for Milo and for us, for rescuing us from a heartbreaking situation!
If anyone is interested in helping us reach our $2000 goal so that Stella’s can match it, let’s get started now! Here is our donation link:
THANK YOU!!!

Our Mission
Green Heart Rescue’s mission is to provide safe, loving homes for senior dogs, dogs with special needs, and dogs deemed as hospice due to medical reasons. Our focus is to improve their quality of life through integrating a holistic approach with proper medical care for every senior dog we rescue. By the time most senior dogs have entered our rescue, their health has started to decline. Our goal is to ensure that all of our dogs experience love, comfort, peace, and proper nutrition. Shortly after intake, our dogs are treated for medical care, which helps us determine whether they'll be adoptable, or be a permanent part of our sanctuary. Any dog that is considered hospice stays with us for the rest of their lives.
