Help Milo Fight Leukemia
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
I am reaching out on behalf of a little Sonoma boy, Milo Padilla, who is bravely battling leukemia. At just 3 years old, Milo’s world has been turned upside down by this devastating diagnosis, and he misses his friends at Sassarini NBCC Pre-school, but his strength and spirit continue to shine through.
Milo’s parents, Marco and Emilia, are doing everything they can to support him while also caring for his loving big brother, Logan—and preparing to welcome a third baby boy into their family. Their love and dedication are unwavering, but the challenges they face are immense.
As longtime friends and co-workers of Milo’s grandmother, Maricela, we have seen firsthand how deeply this family cares for one another. Their extended family has already stepped in to re-floor their home and install air purifiers to create the safest environment possible for Milo during his treatment. Now, we are asking for your help to continue supporting them through this difficult journey.
We are incredibly grateful that Milo has access to the world-class specialists and medical teams at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland. His care team is providing him with the best possible treatment, but the financial burden of medical expenses, travel costs, and time away from work is significant.
Your generosity will go directly toward:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Travel and lodging for treatments
Daily living costs while Marco and Emilia focus on Milo’s care
Special therapies and care to aid in his recovery
Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference in Milo’s journey. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this page and keeping Milo and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Milo, Marco, Emilia, Logan, their soon-to-arrive baby boy, and their entire family are deeply grateful for your love and support. Together, we can give them the strength and resources they need to fight this battle and help Milo heal.
With gratitude,
David and Cindy Studdert
