Milo was born with heterotaxy syndrome, a rare and complex condition where many of his organs developed abnormally, are in the wrong position, or are even missing. The most significant impact has been to his heart. Milo has a single ventricle heart, which has required multiple staged reconstructive surgeries since birth. Despite these challenges, Milo has shown incredible strength and resilience every step of the way.

Now, Milo is preparing for his third major surgery, known as the Fontan procedure. This operation is the final stage in a series of surgeries designed to help his blood flow more efficiently to his lungs, giving his body the oxygen it needs and easing the strain on his heart. Milo gets tired very quickly, and we are hopeful that this surgery will greatly improve his quality of life and allow him to enjoy more of the things he loves.

We are raising funds to help our family during this difficult time.
