Hello! I am Milo, a junior at Michigan State University studying Environmental Biology/Plant Biology. Over MSU’s spring break, I will be part of an environmental research and work group in Ecuador through the Regeneration Field Institute. This is a unique opportunity to do hands-on field work, research, and be part of a cultural exchange to work towards the regeneration of our bioregions in South America. I will be working in the fields and on bamboo construction projects with project-based learning opportunities. During these projects I will be working alongside and interacting with other students, instructors, and locals as an ambassador from MSU!
To do this, I need your help. This program is self funded. There are no scholarships or grants for the program in 2026. I cover all of my program’s costs which includes lodging, meals, flights, travel insurance, supplies, etc. I am asking for your support in donating towards these costs to help assist me as a research participant this spring.
Upon my return I plan to put together a presentation I can share electronically about my experience in Ecuador. Any amount of donation is helpful! Your generosity and financial assistance is greatly appreciated!
