Milo has been my emotional support dog through multiple brain surgeries and countless other medical procedures. He is my soul mate, heart dog, my person, my everything. Just 5 days after my 45th birthday I was hit with the news that Milo has lymphoma and needs chemotherapy or we would lose him in a matter of weeks. With chemo we have hope for time with Milo. So far he has responded well to treatment and the fact that his lymphoma is intermediate as opposed to large is working in his favor. Your donations would go towards paying for Milo’s chemotherapy at Fetch Specialty Animal Hospital in Clearwater, FL, and to buy the many meds we need to support him through this process at home. Each chemo visit is usually over $700, so anything you can give will help tremendously.

I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia, a facial nerve pain condition (the most painful disease known to medicine and nicknamed the su*cide disease) along with a host of other conditions that cause me to live in a lot of pain and with a great deal of fatigue. I have undergone multiple brain surgeries in hopes of lessening my pain, and likely need another one but that is on hold now because I refuse to leave Milo to go to the Mayo Clinic where I would need to have that done. Milo has been by my side through 15+ surgeries and countless other procedures as well as always being ready to snuggle up to me the minute I come home from my monthly infusions. There have been days that the only reason I’ve willed myself to keep going was because I would never leave my dogs alone like that. I have only survived what I’ve been through because I’ve had Milo by my side as my emotional support animal.

Because of my multiple medical conditions I cannot work, so this is a very difficult financial hit. Every moment with him is worth it though.
