Hi everyone, my name is Julia, and this is my sweet bunny, Millie.

Last Sunday, something completely unexpected happened—Millie injured her front leg, and we’ve been anxiously waiting for a vet appointment ever since. Today, we finally got answers: it’s a serious break. After reviewing all options, the vet recommended amputation as the most compassionate and realistic path forward. Splinting likely won’t heal properly and could leave her in long-term discomfort.

Millie is still eating, grooming, and being her gentle little self—but she’s in pain, and surgery needs to happen as soon as possible to give her the best shot at a pain-free life.

This situation caught us off guard emotionally and financially. I never imagined I’d be creating something like this—but I know there are people out there who understand that animals aren’t “just pets”—they’re family. And Millie is very much ours.
