We are asking for donation for our wonderful coworker Alli. Alli, Joe and Millie need help right now after Millie's accident to help with this finical hardship as emergency Vet care is very expensive. Anything is appreciated!

Friday afternoon, Millie had a terrible accident from doing one thing she loves most (running) — she ran under the deck and hit her back as she was chasing Joe in the ranger. The impact injured her Spinal Cord, causing her back legs to go paralyzed. Joe rushed Millie to Hillcrest Veterinary Service where Dr Meeks took X-rays. With no obvious fracture, we were sent to the Cities, BluePearl Pet Hospital, and from there to Animal Emergency and Referal Center of Mn Oakdale, Mn for further testing and information.

Millie has undergone a lot, including getting evaluated x3, blood work, urinary catheter placed, MRI, and surgery to remove a herniated disc from her spinal cord. At this time, Millie is said to be doing much better with the current goal for comfort. She is showing minimal signs of motor movement and pain sensation into the back legs, and she has a 90% chance to walk again! She will likely be placed on 4-6 weeks of strict rest to heal and recover.

We want to give Millie every chance possible to recover and continue to live a great quality of life as her dad’s best co-captain and farm dog. She is still sweet as ever and there are so many squirrels waiting to be chased. Even though she can’t currently stand — she is still the same happy soul and giving us some kisses.
