Meet Milagros

Milagros is 51 years of age and has been a single mom to 5 children. Three of them are adults, and the two young ones are twins and 15 years of age. She is also an amazing Mema (Grandmother) to 5 little ones, 4 boys and 1 girl. Millie works 2 jobs to support her family and is very independent.

On October 20th, Millie went to the ER with stomach pain she's been having, and that has just gradually gotten worse. She then got transferred to another hospital for more exams and was admitted. Not thinking anything bad about these stomach pains, Millie received an update from the doctor, in which they informed her of lesions (cancer) that are on her liver and bile duct. She then had a biopsy done to confirm that it was cancer. A week later, she saw an oncologist to find out the most devastating news of all: she has stage 4 cancer of her bile duct.

Now, as she tries to process such shocking results, Millie has to also worry about paying her bills, keeping food in her fridge, and keeping a roof over her and her daughters' heads.

We are asking that even if you aren't able to donate to this devastated family, please keep Millie in your prayers because even though she has stage four cancer, God is good, and prayers move mountains.
