On August 2, my granddaughter, Millie celebrated her 4th birthday. Just one day later on August 3, our family’s world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Millie is the sweetest, most loving little four-year-old. She has the brightest smile that can light up any room, gives the biggest, tightest hugs, and has a heart full of love. She adores her mommy and daddy and her two brothers are her best friends. She is always laughing, playing, and bringing joy to everyone around her. Anyone who knows Millie knows just how special she is, and seeing her face light up is something you never forget.

Millie will be receiving treatment in Pittsburgh, requiring frequent travel, long days at the hospital, and time away from work for her parents as they stay by her side throughout this fight.
