Hi! My name is Millie and I am a member of the Stamford and Bourne Explorer unit in Lincolnshire. I am one of the lucky Explorers which has been given the incredible opportunity of representing Lincolnshire Scouts at the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027.

To be selected, I took part in a challenging selection camp with around 90 young people from across Lincolnshire and I am proud to say that I was one of just 36 to be selected. I am so excited to represent my Explorer group and county on the world stage!

This will be an incredible experience. However, to get there I need to raise £3800 and that is why I am asking you for your support. Every little helps and each donation will bring me one step closer to this amazing adventure. Donations will help to cover the costs of travelling, food and insurance for the 2-3 weeks that I will be away.

To support my fundraising, I will be completing a sponsored walk totalling 1018 miles over the next year - the same distance between England and Poland. It is a big challenge, but I am determined to complete this. As well as this, I will be organising a quiz as well as other events.

Attending the World Scout Jamboree means the world to me. It will be a chance to try new foods, learn about different cultures and traditions and make new friends from across the globe. Experiences like this do not come around often, and this will be my only opportunity of attending a World Jamboree as a participant. Attending the World Jamboree will be a pinnacle of my current 10 years of Scouting which for many of those years I have dreamed about travelling abroad and representing my county.
