Our nonprofit church was more than a building—it was a labor of love being restored by our local church family into a place of spiritual peace, hope, and healing. It was also home to a K–12 nonpublic school, offering Regents, College Board state testing, and AP courses, serving as a place of hope and help for both the young and the old. Tragically, a fire took this sacred space from us, along with the warm, loving home where our pastor's family, as well as the church community, built a lifetime of treasured memories. While the walls are gone, the faith, compassion, and unity that filled them remain.
