We met Miley when she was just eight weeks old—from a gentleman on the side of the road who couldn’t care for the pups, especially after Miley’s mom had passed from heat stroke. But Miley was never just a “free” dog. She was a gift. A heartbeat wrapped in fur, destined to change our lives. She was our family.

We brought her home that day, but it was our hearts she truly entered. For ten years, she offered us loyalty without question, comfort without words, and joy without bounds. And though a decade may sound long, with a soul like hers… it was never enough.

Her Final Chapter

Around June 20, 2025, Miley’s health took a sudden turn. From that point on, she was in and out of the vet, receiving every possible treatment: surgery, medications, IV fluids, and intensive care. We fought for her with everything we had - emotionally, physically, and financially - every ounce of care love could afford. We did everything we could.

But love, as mighty as it is, doesn’t always win against time. We lost her. And now, we are left with empty bowls, silent rooms, and hearts heavy with grief. The heartbreak is beyond words. We are shattered.

We’ve already paid over $7,000 toward Miley’s veterinary care. Her final bills are expected to reach another $4,000, not including aftercare for her remains. These aren’t just numbers—they are the echoes of every effort we made to save her.
