Help Save Miley: An 11-Week-Old Puppy Fighting for Her Life

Miley is an 11-week-old pitbull mix who was just welcomed into her forever home with open arms and big dreams of puppy kisses, belly rubs, and a lifetime of love. But shortly after coming home, her new family received devastating news: Miley has been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called PRAA (Persistent Right Aortic Arch).

What is PRAA?

PRAA is a congenital defect in which a blood vessel wraps around the esophagus, constricting it and making it nearly impossible for puppies to swallow food normally. Without surgery, affected puppies like Miley struggle to grow, thrive, and survive. The only path forward is a delicate surgery that can cost up to $10,000—but it’s her best chance at a healthy, happy life.

After diagnosis, the veterinarian deemed Miley “unfit for sale”. Once Miley’s new family told the breeder, they offered to refund her purchase price—but this would result in her being euthanized.

Her new family refuses to let that be the end of Miley’s story.

They did not expect to bring home a sick puppy, but they did expect to give her a life filled with love, care, and joy—and they’re determined to fight for her. With your help, they can afford the surgery Miley desperately needs.
