Hi, my name is Miles Sarde-Sanfield. I’m a 15-year-old snowboarder from Bend, Oregon, and I’ve been snowboarding for about 4 years now. At the time I’m writing this, I’m ranked 61st nationally in USASA rail jams for my age division and hoping to improve even more this season and compete a lot more.
I’m starting this GoFundMe because I’m trying to afford my dream school, Wy’east Academy. It helps action sport athletes become the person/athlete they want to be. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to go yet because it costs almost as much as a college per year, so I’m hoping to save up throughout my first couple of years of high school so I can hopefully go my junior/senior year.
One of my main reasons I want to go is because I want to become a professional snowboarder. It’s always been a dream of mine, and I’m hoping I can prove to myself I can do it. I want to prove to my mother I can do it as well. She has stage four terminal cancer, and I’m hoping I can achieve all my hopes and goals in snowboarding before she passes away. And Wy’east Academy 100% will help me achieve that!
