Support Miles Caradine's Senior Thesis Film

HEY YOU! YEAH! YOU! COME HERE!

My name is Miles Caradine and I am a current senior at Loyola University New Orleans studying film. I am gearing up to shoot my senior thesis and would love your help! This is going to be a large project, using a lot of design elements and locations. I would like for this project to show off the capabilities of Loyola as a filmmaking program, as well as everything I have learned from my time at school.

The Project: NEW RED 40

This a story about a young man trying to overcome addiction, but constantly plagued by the temptations of the modern world. Focusing on the absurdity of modern advertising and the predatory nature of corporations, I wanted to show the mundane torture that is addiction in 2025. When your substance of choice can be found out the nearest corner store, adding in a culture of constant video content and surveillance, makes it feel like the whole world is preying on your downfall, and watching it in real time. This is a story that is necessary in today's age and hopefully could maybe even help someone watching.

About Me

My name is Miles and I love movies. I came to school envisioning myself as a psychology major, but when I came to this beautiful art school, I fell in love with the idea of filmmaking. Throughout my time at school, I have worked on many thesis sets as a production designer, grip, boom operator, and production assistant. I personally specialize in art direction and production design. I love anything scary, anything French, anything that disturbs me.
