This is Milena also known as Mila, age 10.

The most fun loving, kind, caring, strong, brave beautiful little girl. Daughter to Arsim and Vjollca Ahmetaj.

On August 18, 2024, their world was turned upside down when Milena was unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia while on vacation. As family, we are coming together to support them during this unimaginably difficult time. Her diagnosis came as a complete shock, and she will now have to endure a difficult road ahead.

Milena is currently admitted to John’s Hopkins All Children’s and will remain in Florida for all future life saving treatments for the next few years. Her parents, Arsim and Vjollca are doing everything they can to support Milena through this, but the emotional and financial toll of future weekly trips, time away from work and ongoing medical related expenses are immense. As they focus on caring for their daughter, we want to help ease some of their burdens to cover travel expenses, lost income, and any additional medical cost that comes with this new reality.

We are creating this GoFundMe to support Arsim, Vjollca and Milena during this challenging journey. Every contribution no matter how small, will make a difference in ensuring that Arsim and Vjollca can focus on what matters most-Milena’s recovery.
