Our dear friend Angela and her mother, Mildred, need us right now. Mildred recently suffered a devastating fall that resulted in a hip replacement and six broken ribs. The road to recovery has been long and difficult, with complications like an infection adding to the challenges. While Mildred has Medicare, it doesn’t cover all the mounting medical expenses from her surgery, hospital stay, and ongoing rehabilitation.

Angela, who is her advocate and primary caregiver, has had to put her own work on hold to ensure Mildred receives the best care possible. Angela spends her days coordinating medical appointments, managing visits from friends and family, and doing everything she can to support Mildred and keep her comfortable. The emotional, physical, and financial toll has been immense for both of them. Support from the community would mean everything to them right now. Relieving the financial burden would allow Angela and Mildred to focus on what matters most: Mildred’s healing and recovery. Every contribution will help cover hospital bills and rehab costs, making a real difference in their lives during this difficult time.
