Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers—

We’re the Price family from Bandera, Texas. Our daughter Mila is a high school senior, a talented soccer player, and one of the hardest-working young women we know. She just wrapped up her final season playing for Bandera High School, but unfortunately, it ended in a way no athlete ever wants.

During a match, Mila was intentionally targeted by two opposing players, resulting in a torn ACL and significant damage to the rest of her knee. It's a devastating injury for anyone—let alone a student-athlete with big dreams on the horizon.

Here’s the silver lining: Mila has been accepted to Southwestern University and has been invited to join their soccer program. This is a huge opportunity for her, and we are incredibly proud. But in order to make that dream a reality, Mila needs reconstructive knee surgery—she’s missing the regular season but needs it as soon as possible if she’s going to heal in time to play for the team in the spring.

As parents and small business owners, we’re doing everything we can to make this happen. We’re not the type to ask for help unless we truly need it—but the financial burden of the surgery is beyond what we can manage in the short time frame we have.
