Help Mila's Journey: Friends helping a Mother Fight for Her Daughter's Health

Mila is a sweet, 4-year-old girl who faces significant challenges every day. She is non-verbal, deaf, and on the autism spectrum. In addition to developmental delays, Mila suffers from several severe health conditions, including Periodic Fever Syndrome, Severe Immunodeficiency Syndrome, and low muscle tone. She also has sensory processing disorders, which make daily life even more difficult for her.

Mila's most critical medical issue right now is that her body doesn't produce white blood cells, which leaves her vulnerable to infections and illnesses. Her body is also unable to absorb the proper nutrients, which has led to severe malnutrition. Mila is currently being treated to address these issues and will soon need a G-Tube for feeding and medication.

As a mother of four, it has been incredibly challenging for me to juggle caring for Mila and my family while maintaining steady employment. The constant medical appointments, therapies, and the care Mila requires have made it difficult to stay employed and ensure we have a stable income.

We are asking for your support to help cover medical expenses, Mila’s ongoing treatments, and the costs of the necessary equipment and care she needs.
