Milagro Garel has spent more than 20 years as a dedicated advocate for children in Belize, working tirelessly to ensure they receive the specialized medical and surgical care they need. Through her compassion and unwavering commitment, Milagro has given hope to countless families and helped save the lives of many children who might otherwise have gone without critical treatment. Her selfless work has touched so many, and now she needs the same support she has so freely given to others.

On July 28, Milagro suffered a devastating ruptured cerebral aneurysm. She remains in critical condition and urgently requires specialized neurosurgical care that is not available in Belize. To receive lifesaving surgery, Milagro is being transferred to a hospital in Guatemala. The costs of emergency medical transportation, surgery, intensive care, hospitalization, medications, and related medical expenses are estimated at $95,000. This is an overwhelming and unexpected burden for Milagro and our family, and we need your help to ensure she receives the care she urgently needs.
