We're all devastated by the loss of Mikhail Gurfinkel. It's hard to imagine Beth Shalom without his warmth and his beautiful spirit. Mikhail was more than a member of our community; he was its heart. He was a poet whose words touched us all, a master greeter who made everyone feel at home, and a dedicated volunteer who gave so much of himself to every event.

We know many of you are looking for a way to honor his memory and support his family during this difficult time. We've created this GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses and to provide some financial support to his family as they navigate this immense loss.
