*UPDATE*

Last week, UARTs abruptly announced that they will close the university on June 7, 2024. This announcement means that the precollege summer program Mikey was accepted to will not happen. This is unfortunate and very frustrating! But we continued to look for summer music programs that would challenge our son and we are excited to let you know that Mikey was accepted and will attend Berklee College of Music’s Aspire summer precollege program instead.

Aspire is a 5-week intensive in Boston, MA and includes one-on-one instruction with Berklee’s renowned faculty to a rigorous curriculum offering college credit. Mikey will also have the chance to explore areas of the music industry such as songwriting, music production, music business, music therapy, and more through elective coursework.

We are again asking for you help to offset the cost of tuition ($5,340) and housing ($4,200).

Thank you for your prayers, support, and investment in to our son bright future!

We are overjoyed to share that our son, Micaiah "Mikey" Burke, has been accepted into the prestigious UARTS Precollege Summer Institute for Music to study Alto Sax! This is such an incredible opportunity for him!

Embarking on this journey is both exciting and daunting. The cost of the program is $4,000, which includes comprehensive training that will significantly advance Mikey's skills and open doors to future opportunities in music. This is where we need your help. We are reaching out to ask for your support in raising funds to cover Mikey's tuition. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to his continued growth and success in music.

We also ask for your prayers for Mikey as he prepares to take this big step. Your encouragement and support mean the world to us and will help carry him forward in this pivotal phase of his musical journey.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can give. Let's help Mikey make the most of this amazing opportunity!

Gene, Fatima, and the entire Burke fam!
