Hello, this is Mikey. I have found myself in life needing and asking my friends and family for help with a health crisis involving alcoholism. I have suffered enough and find myself finally feeling the strength to make a change. I have been accepted into a medical detox that will take my Medicaid benefits, but I am needing additional support to cover basic expenses of travel and time away from work. I find myself in a very vulnerable place reaching out like this.

My program begins August first, and I have already placed myself in a sober living home of a close friend in order to start the process early by removing myself from my immediate environment to minimize triggers. My goal is to cover travel expenses and my rent back home so I can complete this 30-day program. Thank you and God bless you for your support and belief in my recovery.
