I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, Mikey and his girlfriend are facing a challenging journey as he bravely battles Stage 3 Testicular Cancer. We have been grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support. Mikey's journey began on New Year's Day when he was admitted to the hospital. Since then, he has undergone a biopsy and, unfortunately, received the difficult news about his diagnosis. Despite facing obstacles like bed availability in Houston and insurance challenges, Mikey's resilience and determination shine through. On Thursday, Mikey took the courageous step of having a port inserted for chemotherapy, and on Friday, he began his treatment. Though they've encountered some setbacks, including swelling issues, Mikey now has a PICC line for his medication and chemo sessions. Throughout this ordeal, Mikey and his girlfriend have faced moments of tears and frustration, yet their love and support for each other have remained unwavering. They have demonstrated incredible strength, kindness, and positivity, inspiring those around them.
