Support Mikey's Battle Against Leukemia

I’m reaching out on behalf of Michael (Mikey), who was rushed to the hospital this past Monday and, by the next day, was diagnosed with ALL leukemia. It all happened so fast, and it’s been absolutely devastating for everyone who knows and loves him.

Mikey is 47 years old and has special needs, so he doesn’t fully understand what’s going on. Since the moment we got the news, our family hasn’t left his side. He can’t be alone—someone always needs to be with him. He was transferred to a hospital nearly two hours from home, and we’ve been staying close so he’s never without family. But the travel and hotel expenses are adding up quickly.

We’ve reached out to organizations for help, but most only support children—Mikey may be an adult on paper, but anyone who knows him knows he’s just a big kid at heart. He loves his DVD movies, his dog Bella, and has the kindest, most genuine spirit.

We’re holding onto hope and praying for healing, but Mikey has a long road ahead.
