We are heartbroken to share the tragic news of Michael (Mikey) Iorizzo’s passing in a car accident last night. Mikey had just graduated from Havelock High and was just starting his first semester at Carteret Community College for Engine Mechanics.

He was a remarkable young man and loved by all. His loss is a profound and devastating blow to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

In honor of Mikey’s memory and support in this difficult time as parents rarely prepare for the loss of a child so young, we have created this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of having a local service for his friends to attend and then be able to bury Mikey by his Great Grandmother who just recently passed.
