Hello, I’m Miguel DeLeon Jr, most of y'all know me as Mike or Mikey. Most of y'all already know that I’ve had a battle with cancer when I was 19. I had just gotten married and my baby girl was only 2. Now, 16 years later, my baby girl is 18, set to graduate in May, and it turns out, I’m in for another battle. A tougher battle now. Rd 2. Me vs Cancer.

I went into the hospital on Mar 6 thinking I had a stomach virus and left on Mar 7 knowing that I had a tumor in my abdominal wall pushing up against my kidney. A 15 cm size tumor, the size of a large grapefruit. I left the hospital that day with so many questions and zero answers. I had to be patient and go through the process, even though I was in immense pain every single day. I had to put my faith in God, knowing He is in control.

Presently, I just started receiving inpatient chemo treatment at University Hospital. Today marks my 18th day in a hospital since Mar 6 and still many more to go, including surgery to remove the tumor and 2 more rounds of chemo. My tumor grew to 20cm for now but I firmly believe I’m in God’s hands and I believe 100% that I will be cured 100% in His name. Any donation would be a huge blessing and greatly appreciated.
