Michael “Mikey” Klenk and Milian “Millie” Dula Thompson were two vibrant, loving 10-year-old children whose lives were tragically cut short when they drowned in the Passaic River this past week. Mikey was a pure, fun-loving soul with a heart of gold, always eager to make others laugh and bring joy to those around him. He cherished time with his mom, loved playing on his PC, and enjoyed helping in the kitchen, especially when steak was on the menu. Mikey’s spirit lit up every room, and his generosity touched everyone he met. Millie, too, was a sweet child whose smile could brighten any day. About to enter the 5th grade at School #6 in Garfield, Millie was adored by friends, classmates, and family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew them.
