On June 20th, 2025—the day after his 58th birthday—our lives changed in an instant when my husband Mike, a dedicated union mechanic and the sole provider for our family, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. Mike shattered his left elbow and required an eight-hour surgery to repair the damage. His doctors have told us he will be unable to work for at least 5-6 months as he faces a long and challenging recovery.
Mike has always been someone who loves the outdoors and is quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. Now, we find ourselves in a position we never expected—asking for help from our friends, family, and community. With Mike unable to work and myself unable to work due to my own disability, we are struggling to cover mounting medical bills, union dues, and our household expenses.
We would greatly appreciate any support during this difficult time. Your generosity will help us keep up with essential bills and allow Mike to focus on healing. We are not the kind of people to ask for help, but right now, we have no other choice. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping our family in your thoughts.
