On September 22, my Uncle Mike Frost's life was permanently altered. An unexpected car accident left him with severe injuries. He underwent emergency surgery, and they were forced to amputate his arm.
Mike is not only a beloved family member but also an art teacher who has inspired countless students through creativity and passion. Art has always been his way of expressing himself and helping others discover their own voices. Now, he faces the unimaginable challenge of adjusting to life without his arm while continuing to pursue the career he loves.
While we are incredibly grateful that Mike survived, the road ahead will be long and costly. Beyond the immediate hospital bills, Mike faces months of physical and occupational therapy, the possible want/need for a prosthetic arm, and major adjustments to daily life. He may also require adaptive tools and technology to continue his career, as well as home or vehicle modifications to support his independence. On top of that, Mike is facing months of recovery where he cannot work and will need help covering daily living expenses.
We are asking for your support to help ease this burden so Mike can focus on healing and reclaiming his life's passion. Every donation, big or small, brings him closer to recovery. If you can't give, simply sharing this fundraiser means a lot.
Mike has given so much to his students and communities through his art; now it's our turn to give back to him. Thank you for standing by in his journey.
