Our Story...
*(Click "Read More" beneath below photo).*
My husband, Mike, is a completely dedicated semi-truck driver. He has received many safety and performance awards over the years.
Mike is an avid cat lover, too. (Please scroll through the photos at the top).
We have been married over 20 years.
Recently, in late April 2026, Mike began feeling very ill, initially thinking it was food poisoning, then sure it was pneumonia.
Despite his incredibly strong work ethic, (and reluctance to seek medical care), Mike's symptoms worsened, and he instead suffered two major heart attacks within 24 hours, days later.
He was transferred between three hospitals, ultimately ending up medically sedated and later on life support in Minneapolis.
Mike was airlifted there.
He presented with severe heart damage, a malfunctioning aortic valve, failing kidneys and liver from a lack of oxygen to them, (caused by the two heart attacks), and an actual hole in his heart which still needs surgery when he's more stable, along with his aortic valve.
The worst part is, he has no medical insurance, and Mike's health crisis has left him unable to work in his many, varying lifelong truck-driving occupations again!
Our family is facing mounting medical bills, daily life-support costs, hospital transport fees, regular bills.
...And a huge risk of losing our home we've paid on for over 20 years.
With a mortgage, auto loan, and auto insurance policy renewal bill near due too, and Mike now unable to work to pay the piling and expensive medical fees, the financial burden with his rising medical bills altogether are too overwhelming.
Mike will need to recover enough for surgery, and his health will not be well after for many months, or longer, making it unlikely for him to learn new occupational skills during his recovery.
Please kindly assist if and/or when you can with Mike's growing medical bills and other needs, while he, in great dires, sincerely needs a lot of financial support.

Mike remains under complete sedation until after he recovers enough to qualify for surgery, or more likely, surgeries.
Neither of us, (or our three children), expected this to happen or to find out how severe possible was, while Mike is still fairly young at age 57.
Let's show Mike he deserves to be encouraged and appreciated for all the service he has done for citizens across the country: for over 40 years as a very committed, old-fashioned trucker.
Thank you so very, genuinely much!
Sincerely, (Mike's Wife),
Michelle H
