Life can change in an instant,and right now, our dear colleague and friend Mike is facing the fight of his life.

Just days ago, what seemed like the flu turned into a devastating medical emergency. He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with severe sepsis, a life-threatening condition that caused his body to begin shutting down. At one point, we almost lost him. He is currently in the ICU, where he continues to fight every single day. Due to complications, he has already lost a toe, and his road to recovery is expected to be long, painful, and uncertain. While we are incredibly grateful that he is still with us, the reality is that his life has been completely turned upside down.

Because of the severity of his condition, he is unable to work, and will be for the foreseeable future. As medical bills continue to pile up and everyday expenses like rent, utilities, and basic necessities don’t stop, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming for him and his family. Anyone who knows him knows the kind of person he is—hardworking, kind, always showing up for others without hesitation. Now, he needs us. We are asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping cover his mounting hospital bills and keeping his household afloat while he focuses on healing.
