Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
Last May, I received the news no one ever wants to hear: “It’s cancer.” I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in my throat—a life-altering moment filled with emotional and physical challenges.
Just two years earlier, my wife Sherri was bravely fighting her own battle with breast cancer. Thankfully, she is now cancer-free. We were beginning to feel like we could breathe again—until life threw another curveball.
In the same week as my diagnosis, I was informed that my company was undergoing restructuring. I, along with several others, would be laid off in June. Losing both my health and my job in the same week has been incredibly overwhelming.
While insurance has covered some of the costs, the out-of-pocket expenses for chemotherapy, radiation, and ongoing care have added up quickly. I’m currently facing significant medical bills and financial strain.
I’m reaching out with humility to ask for your help. Any donation—no matter the size—would mean so much to me and will go directly toward my medical expenses. If you're unable to give, simply sharing this page would also make a meaningful difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, support, and love during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Mike Gordon
