Support Mikel Mwalimu-Banks' Fight Against FSHD

Greetings, Friends and Family, Mikel Mwalimu-Banks here..... As some of you may know, and for those who don't..... I have been dealing with a serious progressive condition called FSHD (Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy). It is a rare genetic disease that slowly weakens arm, shoulder, and leg muscles and has been steadily destroying my mobility. I am not able to walk more than a few feet unassisted.... and so many other functions I once took for granted have been severely affected. As many of you have witnessed, I am traveling by wheelchair. All this has shaken the core of my self-faith and my self-worth. This has also really affected my finances in the worst ways possible. I have been aware that the number one way to go bankrupt in America was to become sick..... Now it has become first-hand experience! My wife has carried the lion's share of the financial weight as best she could, but without our combined income, we are not able to survive! I am in real need of your help, grace, and generosity!!! We are at risk of losing everything we have struggled for and built together before my illness took over! I'm asking for your kind assistance to help us!
