Support Mikeisha’s fight against Breast Cancer!

Mikeisha noticed a lump in her breast late January. After several very hard months of trying to be seen by doctors to determine what it could be, she received the devastating news that it was in fact, BREAST CANCER.

After spending the last month back and forth from testing, bloodwork, scans and more this week finalized her plan of care. Chemo is scheduled to begin shortly with a process that can last from 4-6 Months and then more test to prep for surgery followed by Recovery, Testing, and Prayerfully Remission.

As we all know Mikeisha is Self Employed, Professional Los Angeles Photographer, that many of us have been blessed with some of her amazing work. This unfortunately leaves her unable to confirm any current/future work or clients not knowing what her next few months will look like for income or if she will even be able to physically work based on her bodies response to treatment/chemo.

Mikeisha’s ONLY WISH is staying in the apartment that has housed her for over a decade. This keeps her in close proximity to doctors appointments and treatment as well as family, friends and Sorors who are able to come support.

We understand times are difficult for everyone. Know that every cent will be cherished and appreciated. Please share what you can as this will be used for any living costs as well as medical expenses and needs to help her get through treatment.

Although we don’t completely know what lies ahead, we know that this battle is real and that it will be tough. Mikeisha is ready to fight and knows she can do so with the amazing support she has behind her. To her family, friends, Soror’s, clients and Colleagues, let’s show her what kind of community she has built over the years by helping us support, bring comfort and hold up our beloved daughter, sister, friend and photographer in such a tragic time in her life.
