Support Mike & Wyatt During Recovery

My name is Mike, and I’m a single dad to my two-year-old son, Wyatt. I’ve worked in floor covering for years, but right now, I’m facing a tough road. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and also have a double hernia—both require surgery. My hernia surgery is scheduled for the 25th of this month, and I’ll have my kidney removed on the 17th of next month. Because of these surgeries, I won’t be able to work for about four months while I recover.


This has put me in a difficult spot. I’m doing everything I can to keep a roof over our heads and provide for Wyatt, but I’m struggling to cover rent, utilities, and car insurance. I’ve reached out to churches and local organizations for help, but funding has been limited or unavailable. The stress of not knowing if we’ll be able to stay in our home has been overwhelming, especially with Wyatt depending on me for everything.
