We are raising money to honor a friend to all, Michael J. Traverse. Mike recently passed earlier this week. Anyone who knew Mike knew he was one of a kind. He was someone you could always count on: selfless, honest, strong, passionate, supportive, and most of all, a fantastic father and husband to his family. Mike was an amazing, selfless person at the race track and at home with family.

He was a family man, big-hearted, and passionate about his racing photography and many other things. So many people loved him and had an impact on every person he’s ever met. He was a talented photographer, capturing so many moments for so many people. Behind every photo of his was a story to tell. He loved having a connection with all the drivers and always supported them no matter the type of day they were having at the track. He always captured the story behind the drivers in his articles. He supported everyone no matter what.

He loved his boys and wife to the fullest and was always beaming with joy and was always proud for his family: Terrie Stephen’s-Traverse, Jason, Matthew, and Marky.
