Support Mike Smith's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Dear Friends & Family—

My Uncle Mike has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer.

In December 2023, Mike Smith was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive and terminal form of brain cancer. Mike underwent surgery, and the tumor was successfully removed. After a brief recovery, he began standard treatments, including oral chemotherapy, radiation, and a clinical trial medication. His scans were clear, and he was thriving.

However, in June 2024, a scan revealed new growth in another area of his brain, and by July, a follow-up scan showed rapid tumor progression. We are now aggressively fighting this new tumor, but we need to use every available resource. This means integrating additional medical treatments to combat this relentless disease. Unfortunately, while Mike's insurance has been generous in covering standard treatments, it doesn’t extend to these integrative options. These new treatments will be out-of-pocket expenses, and though Mike is worth every penny, our savings will be quickly exhausted.
