It is with deep heartbreak that we share the news that Mike Saunders has passed away. Despite every effort, every hope, and the incredible strength he showed, his body was unable to recover from the damage he suffered.
Mike touched more lives than any of us ever realized. His friendships and connections knew no boundaries. The outpouring of support from every corner of his life has been a powerful reflection of the person he was.
Because the funds were originally raised with the hope of supporting Mike’s recovery, they will now be entrusted to his Mother as she navigates the difficult days ahead and honors her son in the way he deserves.

Our good friend Mike Saunders has always been the kind of person who shows up when someone needs a hand — whether it’s helping a neighbor, volunteering in the community, or just being there with his trademark smile and sense of humor.
A few days ago Mike suffered a serious stroke that turned his world upside down. He’s now facing a long road of recovery, including hospital stays, therapy, and the challenges that come with rebuilding strength and independence.
Mike’s the kind of guy who would never ask for help for himself, but right now he truly needs the support of his friends, family, and community. The medical bills, rehab costs, and time away from work will quickly add up — and we want to make sure he can focus fully on healing instead of worrying about finances.
