We are Mike Possenti’s lifelong friends, and we’ve had the privilege of knowing him over 50 years. Mike is one of the strongest people we know, but he’s faced unimaginable challenges in recent years as a result of diabetes. After enduring over 70 surgeries and multiple amputations, Mike is now facing significant medical bills and the daunting task of rehabilitation. He’s working hard to learn how to use his hands again after losing his fingers, requires a kidney transplant, and the costs of his care are overwhelming.

Mike’s journey hasn’t just been about medical procedures—it’s about adapting to a new way of life. He needs specialized rehabilitation to regain as much independence as possible, and his home must be modified to accommodate his new needs. These changes are essential for his safety and well-being, but they come with expenses that Mike and his family simply can’t manage alone.
